Céline JACQUES

Céline JACQUES has been working in various roles since 2012. Céline began with a Summer Internship at IKEA Group in 2012. In 2013, they completed a Research Internship at Thales, where they improved a passive direction-finding algorithm by creating a new algorithm based on Bayes theorem. From 2015 to 2019, they held a PhD position at IRCAM, focusing on Automatic Learning Methods for Automatic Music Transcription. During this time, they improved an automatic music retranscription algorithm by combining a new onsets detection algorithm in the old application, and developed a model based on NMD (Non negative Matrix Deconvolution). Most recently, Céline JACQUES has been working as a Data Scientist at Apricity since 2019.

Céline Jacques completed their Master's degree in Traitement de l'information from IMT Atlantique (ex Telecom Bretagne) between 2011 and 2015. Céline also completed a Master SISEA option Signal in Signal, Image, Système Embarqué et Automatique from Université de Rennes I in 2014. In 2013, they participated in a Semestre d'échange international at Technische Universität Dresden.
