Cheng Sun is an experienced Assurance Director currently working with Aprio since September 2023. Prior to this role, Cheng served as Director of Assurance at BDO USA, LLP from December 2021 to September 2023, where responsibilities included leading audit services for both public and non-public entities while specializing in complicated accounting transactions. Cheng's career began at Drescher & Malecki LLP as a Senior Auditor, advancing to a Senior Manager in Assurance at RSM US LLP from January 2006 to December 2021. In this role, Cheng managed and implemented audit services, gaining extensive experience with complex, fast-growing, and highly-acquisitive companies. Cheng Sun holds a Master's degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York.
