Michael Colavito

Michael Colavito serves as the Director of State and Local Tax Services at Aprio since January 2023, following a successful tenure as Director at Aronson LLC from November 2012 to January 2023, where Michael played a key role during the firm’s merger with Aprio. Prior to his time at Aronson, Michael held various positions, including Associate at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP and State & Local Tax Senior Associate at KPMG. Michael's career began at CT Corporation as a Client Specialist and as a Legal Assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates, specializing in international trade. Michael earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Seton Hall University School of Law, attending from 2003 to 2007.
