Manuel Camargo

Manuel Camargo has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Manuel started their career as a Coordinador de Pruebas at 4SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES S.A.S, where they were responsible for designing testing strategies and executing test cases. Manuel then moved on to work as an Asistente graduado de investigación at Universidad de los Andes, supporting and developing an application called MONO using Ruby on Rails. In this role, they also coordinated activities with companies in the digital content development sector and contributed to research and publication activities. Manuel then served as an Information Technology Consultant at Paris School of Economics before joining the University of the Andes as a Graduate Doctoral Assistant. Manuel'sresponsibilities in this position included conducting research and providing assistance. Manuel later became a Junior Research Fellow at the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science, where they continued their research work until 2022. Currently, they are working as a Junior Software Developer at Apromore, and starting from February 2023, as a Software Engineer at the same company.

Manuel Camargo has a diverse education history in the field of computer sciences and engineering. Manuel obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science between 2018 and 2022. Simultaneously, from 2018 to 2022, they pursued another PhD in Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes. Prior to these doctoral degrees, Manuel completed a Master's degree in Information Technology Architecture from Universidad de Los Andes from 2014 to 2016. Manuel'seducational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, which they attained between 2002 and 2012.
