Khalid Boutafza is an experienced Aviation Chief Engineer and Program Manager with a background in aerospace engineering. Khalid began their career at Airbus Helicopters as an aerospace engineer focused on CAN, Ethernet, and AFDX systems before moving on to SAFRAN, where they oversaw production for the Super Puma helicopter. They later served as a Technical Referent at ALTEN and took on project management roles at Ventoris, leading projects in Fly By Wire Systems. Currently, Khalid is the Development Chief Engineer for Airbus Light Helicopters, where they manage integration and development projects for the H125 and H130 helicopter models.
