Apt
Neil Stephens is a seasoned architect with extensive experience in various leadership roles within the architecture industry. Currently, Neil serves as a Senior Architect at Apt since March 2022 and has been the Director at the UK Cohousing Network since 2012. Prior to these positions, Neil held the role of Senior Architect at Bisset Adams from February 2019 to February 2022 and served as Director and Architect at MDR London Ltd from January 2016 to January 2019. Neil also gained valuable experience as a Senior Architect at ATP Group from August 2014 to December 2015, and as an Associate at ECD Architects Ltd from June 2007 to August 2014. Neil began the architectural career as an Assistant Architect at Goddard Manton Architects from March 2000 to May 2007. Neil holds a BA(Hons) and a Diploma in Architecture from the University of Greenwich, awarded between 2000 and 2004.

We do not have a ‘house’ style and look at every project afresh; creating desirable places to live and work that are richly detailed and diverse in character, celebrating the culture, customs and heritage of their setting, reinforcing a sense of identity and place. From our studio in the heart of London’s design district we work across several sectors including housing, commercial, heritage, arts and community projects of all shapes and sizes across London and the UK.
