Will Billingsley

Will Billingsley has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Lift Operator at Vail Resorts. Will then moved on to work as a Project Manager Business Development at Sanaria Inc. from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they became the Head Coach at Avanti Athletics, where they organized coaching sessions for 4-12 year olds. During the same year, they founded Billingsley Music Services, where they served as the Director, overseeing the strategic direction of the company and driving digitization efforts. In 2019, they participated in the Pre-Accelerator program at NatWest and the Business Growth Program at London & Partners. In 2020, they took on multiple roles, including being a Resident Expert at Uhubs, a Startup Mentor at UCL Innovation & Enterprise, and a Member of the Open Data team at FinTech Innovation Lab London. Most recently, in 2022, they co-founded ApTap and serves as the Chief Executive Officer, leading the development of a marketplace-as-a-service platform connecting banks and merchants. Additionally, they have been an active participant in the startup community, sharing their knowledge and experiences through mentoring and workshops.

Will Billingsley attended Thomas Sprigg Wootton High School from 2009 to 2013 but did not earn a specific degree or specialize in a field of study during this time. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they studied Biology with Management at Imperial College London, focusing on the intersection of life sciences and business. In 2016 and 2017, they also attended Imperial College Business School, where they pursued a degree in Biology with Management with a specific emphasis on business management.
