Chris Evans

Vice President, Innovation - Pharma at Aptar

Chris Evans has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Captive Plastics, where they managed product development and commercial distribution of various packaging products. In 1999, they became the Director of Product Development and Engineering at Applied Tech Products, overseeing the development of proprietary products and optimizing manufacturing capabilities. From 2002 to 2005, Chris served as the Director of Product Development/Management at Union Street Brand Packaging, where they handled product roadmaps and built the company into a successful packaging development business. Chris then worked as the Director of Packaging Technology at Insight Innovation Center from 2005 to 2008, developing and launching a unique business model based on molded packaging technology. In 2008, they joined West Pharmaceutical Services, initially as the Director of Innovation and later as the Senior Director of Strategic Innovation/R&D and Vice President of Global Innovation, where they managed innovation strategies and teams. From 2014 to 2020, Chris served as a Member of the Board of Directors at HealthPrize Technologies. In 2020, they joined Sonescence, Inc. as a Shareholder and later became the Chief Technology Officer. Currently, Chris is the Vice President of Innovation - Pharma at Aptar, a position they have held since July 2021.

Chris Evans has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Pre/Med and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Towson University. They also have a minor in Chemistry from Towson University. In addition, Chris has completed an Executive Education Program in Marketing & Pricing Strategies from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
