Brad Pease

Brad Pease is the Director of Engineering at AptDeco. Brad previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Aksia from March 2012 to September 2018. At Aksia, they were responsible for designing modern architectures for existing systems and constructing new software solutions for constantly evolving business needs. Brad redesigned the primary client portfolio and research platform by fully replacing an Ext.NET front-end with modern components using JavaScript, jQuery, jsRender, and KnockoutJS. Brad also refactored web forms into a web service API and designed a base framework for request and error handling. In addition, they constructed a highly customizable workflow system for all internal business processes using ASP.NET MVC and KnockoutJS. Brad created a flexible data collection interface using Vue and ES6 Javascript that allows users to construct custom report formats, input content, and publish content to clients. Brad also designed and implemented a C# PDF reporting engine used to standardize the format of all quantitative and qualitative data outputs in a reusable and extensible way. Furthermore, they profiled and refactored complex financial data aggregation and statistical calculation processes to increase runtime performance and achieved a maximum content load time of two seconds. Lastly, they constructed a service that uses several external APIs to download millions of records of hedge fund public holding and stock performance data and aggregates it into a common format.

Brad Pease has a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.
