Kieran Smith

Kieran Smith has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Kieran began their career in 2003 as a Database Developer at Business Environment Partnership, where they designed and implemented a Project Management Database and provided IT support and training to staff. In 2004, they joined Craneware as a Software Test Engineer, involved in the development and testing of Charge Master Auditing Software. Kieran also created test documentation, test cases, and developed automated testing scripts using Python. In 2006, Kieran joined Sanderson as a Senior Software Developer, where they specialized in developing high-end software for the Wholesale Cash & Carry and Distribution sector in the UK and Ireland. Kieran 'skey functional areas included accounting, warehousing, business intelligence, eCommerce, mobile apps, and web portals. Kieran was also a core developer for the Wholesale ERP software. Currently, Kieran is a Lead Engineer at Aptean since April 2022, responsible for development work.

Kieran Smith received a BSc (Honours) degree in Business Information Technology from Edinburgh Napier University between 2001 and 2003. Prior to that, they completed a Higher National Diploma in Business Information Technology at Southern Regional College from 1999 to 2001. Kieran 'seducation history also includes a BTEC GNVQ in Advanced Business from Southern Regional College, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999.
