Matt Hashimoto is a Founding Engineer at Apten AI, where they are focused on building AI agents that communicate like humans. Matt graduated from UC Berkeley in 2022 with a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Prior to their current role, they held positions as a Staff Software Engineer and Performance Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, where they focused on performance testing and automation solutions. Additionally, Matt gained experience through internships at Boeing and Quigley and Miron Certified Public Accountants, as well as working as an Intramural Referee at UC Berkeley. In their free time, they enjoy sports and exploring the Bay Area.
