David Melichar

David Melichar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

In 1997, they worked as a Business Analyst at CCA Group, focusing on process analysis, production planning, and CRM consulting for ERP systems.

From 1998 to 2005, they served as a Senior Business Consultant at Logica, working on management and IT architecture consulting for various clients across different sectors. David also collaborated with Deloitte and SAP, specializing in process analysis, service management, change management, and SAP CRM and SAP Production Planning.

In 2009, they joined IMCCR (IMC Czech Republic) as a Board Member, contributing to shaping management consulting standards in the Czech Republic and establishing collaborations with other bodies.

Starting in 2012, they took on the role of Lecturer at the University of Economics, Prague, where they taught until 2017.

In 2015, they became the Co-President of Keiretsu Forum Prague, a position they held until 2017.

From 2005 to 2021, they founded and served as the CEO of CORTIS Consulting, a management and IT consulting company focused on change management, business process reengineering, and enterprise and IT architecture. The company aimed to bridge the gap between "IT staff and normal people."

In 2020, they founded Aptien Labs and currently serves as its CEO.

David Melichar completed their education at the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen. David obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Management in the years 1994 to 1998. Later, they pursued a Ph.D. in Enterprise Architecture & Data Governance from the same university, completing it from 2000 to 2005. In 2012, they participated in the MIT Enterprise Forum Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on Management.
