Adam Abbott

Adam Abbott is an experienced quality control professional with a solid background in welding inspection and quality assurance. Currently working as a Field QC at APTIM since May 2022, Adam focuses on quality inspections for cokers, vessels, furnaces, and piping systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and codes. Previous roles include QA/QC on the Terra Nova FPSO for Magna Services Limited, Quality Advisor at RothLochston, and QC Inspector at Irving Shipbuilding, where substantial responsibilities included visual inspections, compliance audits, and coordination of non-destructive testing. Adam began a career in quality control with a work term as a QC student at G.J. Cahill & Company Ltd. and holds a degree in Welding Engineering Technology from the College of the North Atlantic.
