Hannah Rigoni is a Geologist at APTIM since February 2024 and a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where research focuses on geochemistry, hydrology, and groundwater fauna to support the conservation of groundwater and its organisms. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, teaching introductory geology labs and a graduate-level course in aqueous geochemistry. Hannah worked as a Biological Science Technician and Geologist at the U.S. Geological Survey, investigating the effects of fire on the Russian River, and held the position of Facility Engineer at Dicaperl Minerals Corporation, focusing on environmental compliance and exploration drilling. Earlier roles included a Student Research Assistant at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, assisting in research on photosynthetic micro-organisms in caves, and a Geology Intern at Freeport-McMoRan, where responsibilities included estimating ore grade and contributing to mine planning. Hannah earned a PhD in Geology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2023 and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in 2017.
