John Bauer

John Bauer has extensive work experience in the field of risk management and project oversight. John currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer at APTIM since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Jacobs as the Division VP Risk and Project Oversight for the North American Nuclear Business Unit until August 2020.

Before joining Jacobs, John was associated with CH2M HILL where they held various positions, including Director of Enterprise Risk Management from June 2014 to February 2018 and VP Project Controls and Risk Management for the Nuclear Business Group from January 2011 to June 2014. John also worked as a Project Controls Manager from January 2007 to January 2011 and as a Project Management Consultant from 2005 to 2007.

At the beginning of their career, John worked at Kaiser-Hill LLC, Rocky Flats as the Transportation Planning and Technical Support Manager from 1999 to 2005.

John Bauer has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mathematics from the Colorado School of Mines. John also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Geophysical Engineering from the same institution.
