Mark Somerville

Mark Somerville has extensive experience in radiation safety, currently serving as the Director of Radiation Safety and Radiation Safety Officer at Aptim since July 2017, and previously as Director of Radiation Safety at CB&I since February 2013. Mark's career includes roles such as Director of the Radiation Safety Center at Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure, Inc. from May 2011 to February 2013, and Radiation Protection Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from September 1987 to May 2011, alongside earlier experience in radiological waste at Duquesne Light Company from 1981 to 1987. Mark holds multiple academic credentials, including PhDs in Natural Resources and Environmental Radiation Physics, a Master's in Radiation Physics, and a Bachelor's in Experimental Psychology, with ongoing studies in Clinical Psychology at Walden University.
