Matthew Curtis

Matthew Curtis is a seasoned Senior Scientist and Geologist with extensive experience in environmental project management and geology spanning over three decades. Currently, Matthew serves as a Senior Scientist/Geologist at APTIM, having progressed through several company transformations since 2001. Previous roles include Senior Scientist IV at CB&I, where Matthew managed environmental projects for major clients such as Coca-Cola and AT&T, and Senior Scientist at Shaw Environmental, where responsibilities encompassed project management and quality control for commercial and federal projects. Early career experiences include positions as a Staff Geologist at Advanced Earth Sciences and The Earth Technology Corporation, focusing on landfill investigations and geological assessments. Matthew holds a BSc in Geology from California State University, Fullerton, and an AS in Geology from Mt. San Antonio College. Additionally, Matthew contributes to Puente Hills Baptist Church as a Senior Usher and Trustee, providing spiritual guidance and overseeing church communications.
