Ali Awarke

Ali Awarke is a seasoned software director with 12 years of experience in leading complex development projects. They earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, where they also contributed to academic publications and supervised master's students. Ali has held significant roles in various companies, including project management for automotive embedded systems at Continental and product management at FEV Europe GmbH. Most recently, they serve as a Director of DevSecOps and Software Transformation at Aptiv. Prior to their software career, Ali was a professional basketball player, representing the Lebanese national team and winning medals in international competitions.
