Brenda Petkov

Brenda Petkov is a highly experienced engineering professional with a robust background in software development and management within the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Software Chief Program Owner at Aptiv since November 2020, Brenda has previously held key positions at Visteon Corporation, where responsibilities included leading global teams in delivering driver information software for North American OEMs and overseeing international projects in Bulgaria and Japan. Brenda's career also includes roles at Johnson Controls Automotive as a Software Project Manager and Continental Automotive Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, along with foundational experience as a Software Engineer at Lear Corporation. Brenda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of San Carlos, earned in 1999.
