Melvin Berster

Melvin Berster is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in validation and testing within the automotive industry. Currently serving as the EMEA Validation Engineering Manager and Test Lab Manager at Aptiv since May 2024, Melvin oversees the management of the validation laboratory and engineering staff while facilitating the laboratory's transition to a DIN/ISO 17025 certified facility. Prior experience includes a tenure at Delphi since September 2016, where Melvin managed the existing validation laboratory and engineering team. Previously, at Johnson Controls from March 2001 to September 2006, Melvin established the electronics validation unit for the European headquarters and held various roles including Test Coordinator and Senior Engineer, leading teams and managing both internal and external electronic validation services. Melvin demonstrates strong leadership and strategic planning skills, having built a worldwide laboratory network for electronics validation and successfully driven multiple high-profile projects.
