Thomas Debruyne is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in the automotive industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Aptiv since May 2018, Thomas oversees engineering projects for prominent automotive clients including BMW, Mercedes, CEER, Renault, and Stellantis Europe, focusing on areas such as ADAS, Bodycontrollers, infotainment, and interior systems. Previously held roles include Program Director managing P&L for Renault/Nissan ADAS systems and Program Manager leading the development of cockpit information systems for BMW and AD/ADAS systems for PSA. Prior experience includes serving as Start Center Leader at Delphi, driving new business pursuits in car interiors, and as Engineering Manager at Johnson Controls, where responsibility included managing a requirement management team for European OEMs and deploying Model Based System Engineering.
