Liz Pickrell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Liz started their career in 2013 as a Medical Records Specialist at GASTROENTEROLOGY ASSOCIATES, P.C., where they managed a containment facility for over 100,000+ medical records. Liz then joined Brigham Young University as a Teachers Aide, conducting exam review sessions, creating online quizzes, and providing one-on-one instruction to students in Humanities of Asia. Liz also worked at XLR8 Development LLC as a Reports Manager Intern, where they created an employee handbook, collaborated with a team on-campus, and designed an onboarding process for new hires. Liz further expanded their skills as a Reference Assistant at Harold B. Lee Library, specializing in research assistance, troubleshooting projects, and training employees on audio database utilization. Liz also worked briefly as a Marketing Communications Coordinator at Spectrum Engineers and as an Instructional Designer at Lucid. Most recently, they joined Aptive Environmental as an Instructional Designer in October 2020.
Liz Pickrell obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences from Utah State University, graduating in 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Interdisciplinary Humanities with an English emphasis at Brigham Young University between 2012 and 2018.
