Gabrielle Shekou

Gabrielle Shekou is an experienced attorney currently serving at Aptly since January 2020. Prior to this role, Gabrielle worked at Propertyware, a RealPage Company, as VP of Business Development and In-House Counsel from January 2005 to December 2008, where responsibilities included overseeing the corporate sales division and leading business development initiatives. Previous positions include serving as a Corporate Attorney at Latham & Watkins from 2003 to 2005 and as a Corporate Lawyer at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati LLP from 2001 to 2003. Gabrielle began a legal career as a Judicial Intern at the U.S. Courts of Appeals from 1999 to 2000. Academically, Gabrielle holds a Juris Doctor degree from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley, with a specialization in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of California, Berkeley. Additional educational qualifications include a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America and studies at Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the Institute of Japanese Studies.
