Daniel Porteous

Daniel Porteous is a Software Engineer at Aptos Labs since April 2022, contributing to the development of a layer 1 blockchain aimed at enhancing Web3 technology and user experience. Prior experience includes serving as a Production Engineer at Facebook from April 2018 to April 2022, along with a brief internship at Facebook in early 2017. Daniel held tutoring positions at the University of Melbourne in Object Oriented Software Development and Foundations of Algorithms, and served as IT Officer for the Computing and Information Systems Students Association. Daniel’s career commenced as an Administrative Assistant at Healthscope from April 2014 to November 2016. Daniel earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Melbourne between 2014 and 2017.
