Michael Straka

Michael Straka currently serves as a Cryptography Engineer at Aptos Labs, a position held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Michael was a Partner in Cryptography at cLabs from August 2019 to April 2023, where contributions were focused on the Celo project. Earlier experience includes working as an Independent Contractor for Celo in 2019 and as a Cryptography Engineering Intern at Cambrian Labs, where research involved enhancing cryptographic accumulators, achieving significant performance improvements. Michael also interned as a Platform Software Engineering Intern at SigFig, where notable improvements to testing SAML services and fault tolerance in data management were made. Michael holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science, both from Stanford University.
