Mike Hoffpauir

A P Ventures Director of Business Development for DoD Programs, Mike Hoffpauir, brings 40 years of military experience to the work—27 as an officer in the US Army, and 13 as a civilian contractor. Mike’s military experience includes all echelons of the Army, from Platoon through the Army Staff, including command of an Army Combat Engineer Brigade, as well as deployments to Bosnia, Albania and Kosovo. He also has served in Joint Assignments and is joint qualified. As a Defense Contractor, Mike has supported U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM), providing program management, procedural expertise, and project execution support. While assisting TRADOC, Mike authored the full draft of the U.S. Army’s first-ever Counter-IED Strategy, and more recently has supported other strategic-level programs for TRADOC, U.S. Army Europe, U.S. Army Japan, and U.S. Army Korea. He hails from southeastern Louisiana and resides in Yorktown, Virginia. Mike has a B.S. in Geology, M.A. in Geography & Remote Sensing, Masters in Military Arts and Sciences, and was a National Security Fellow at the J.F.K. School of Government, Harvard. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
