Greg Aaron

Greg Aaron is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity and Internet policy, currently serving as the President of Illumintel Inc. since July 2011, where the firm specializes in intelligence and analysis related to cybersecurity and Internet commerce. As a Senior Research Fellow at the Anti-Phishing Working Group since 2013, Greg advises on technology and policy issues and contributes to quarterly reports on Internet crime. Greg is also a member of the Security and Stability Advisory Committee at ICANN, working on advisories about Internet crime and best practices. Previously, as a Security and Anti-Abuse Expert at Meta, Greg led strategies to combat phishing across various platforms. With earlier roles at iThreat Cyber Group and Afilias, Greg has extensive experience in product management and the operational aspects of Internet infrastructure. Greg earned a BA, magna cum laude, in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
