Allan Williamson

Allan Williamson is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Director of Science at The Perse School, Cambridge, since September 2020. With a strong background in chemistry, Allan has held roles such as Chemistry Teacher and Acting Head of Chemistry while also working as an Examiner for AQA since 2008. Previous positions include Strategic Director for Key Stage 5 and Head of Student Learning at London Academy, Head of Science at Paddington Academy, and Assistant Subject Leader at London Academy. In addition to teaching, Allan has provided private tutoring in Chemistry A Level and contributed to program development with The Brilliant Club. Allan holds an MPhil in Management and an MA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, along with a QTS from Canterbury Christ Church University.
