Andrew Allman

Andrew Allman is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Headmaster at Lucton School since September 2024 and as an Estyn Peer Inspector since December 2022. Previously, Andrew held the position of Headmaster at Myddelton College from September 2017 to September 2024, and was a Head of Religious Studies and Psychology, Boarding Housemaster, and Teacher at Barnard Castle School from September 2002 to August 2017. Andrew's extensive involvement with AQA as a Principal Examiner, Lead Examiner, and Examiner dates back to May 2007. Additionally, Andrew served as a PGCE Recruitment Consultant at Durham University from June 2010 to July 2016. Andrew holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Postgraduate Degree in Religious Education from Durham University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology. Educational foundation includes attendance at Shrewsbury School from September 1993 to July 1998.
