Andrew Sellars is an experienced educator currently serving as the West Midlands Regional Chair for The Association for Science Education since September 2020, along with roles as Development Lead at Teach First since August 2017, where responsibilities include training new teachers in the West Midlands. Previously, Andrew has extensive experience in various teaching and leadership positions, including GCSE Physics Exam Marker for AQA, Lead Physics Teacher at THE WESTWOOD ACADEMY, and Head of Science at Coundon Court School and Parker EACT Academy. In addition to teaching, Andrew has worked as an educational consultant and a guest lecturer, specializing in behaviour management, departmental improvements, and data analysis. Educational qualifications include a PGCE in Secondary Science from the University of Chester and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Applied Ecology from Liverpool John Moores University.
