Carly O’Neil

Carly O’Neil is a highly experienced chemistry educator and examiner, currently serving as an Expert Examiner for Pearson and in multiple roles at BioGrad Education, including Science (Chemistry) Education Lead and Chemistry Practical Skills Expert. With a strong background at AQA as a Practical Endorsement Team Leader and Examiner since December 2016, Carly also contributes to STEM Learning UK as a Senior Professional Development Leader and Cheshire and Wirral SLP Secondary Lead. Previous positions include Head of Science at Liverpool Life Sciences UTC and teaching roles within Liverpool LEA. Carly’s academic credentials include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool, alongside a PGCE in Secondary Chemistry, further complemented by extensive research experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
