Gordon Aitken

Gordon Aitken is a retired senior leader and project manager with extensive experience in public sector education. Previously, they were the managing director of RCU Ltd and have served as a senior examiner and lead assessment writer for AQA's Economics qualifications. Aitken's mid-career involved consulting for the Department for Education and managing high-profile college mergers, before concluding their career as a lecturer in Economics at Runshaw College and Lancaster University. They hold a BA Hons in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford, a Postgraduate Certificate of Education from Edge Hill University, and an MBA with distinction from Lancaster University.
