Jenni Lees

Jenni Lees has extensive experience in education, currently serving as Head of Year at The Sigma Trust since July 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing teaching and learning, student welfare, and the leadership of a team of tutors. In this role, Jenni utilizes data to identify students at risk of underachieving and works with stakeholders to implement and monitor interventions. Additionally, Jenni has served as a Teacher of English, focusing on curriculum design for Key Stages 3 to 5, and as an EAL/CiC Coordinator, ensuring the welfare and academic progress of English as an additional language learners and students in care. Jenni also works as an examiner for AQA, marking external GCSE English Language exams. Prior to a career in education, Jenni gained valuable experience in accounting and auditing roles at Scrutton Bland and Barnes Clark Of Tiptree. Jenni holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Greenwich and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Linguistics from Anglia Ruskin University, along with additional qualifications in accounting.
