Karra Smith

Karra Smith is an experienced educational professional and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Head of the Drama Department at Chingford Academies Trust since September 2021, and as an Examiner for AQA since October 2019. As the Founder of FIGJAM Beauty since August 2015, Karra combines a passion for the arts with business acumen. Previous roles include Second in Faculty and Sub-Coordinator at Hathaway Academy Grays, Drama Teacher positions at several schools, and a governance role at Sunnymeade Infant School. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from the University of Reading, Karra is furthering expertise through a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Coventry University and a Level 7 qualification in Senior Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.
