Liam Jones

Liam Jones currently serves as the Trust Senior Leader for Modern Foreign Languages at The Two Counties Trust, overseeing MFL provision across a multi-academy trust of nine secondary schools. Since May 2018, Liam has also been an examiner for GCSE Spanish with AQA. Previous roles include Assistant Principal and Head of Department at Outwood Grange Academies Trust, along with teaching positions at Barnsley Academy, Outwood Grange Academies Trust, Ecclesfield School, and Sheffield Teaching School Alliance. Notable early career experiences include roles at BMW Group UK Limited as a Correspondence Executive and at the British Council as an Assistant English Teacher. Liam holds a First Class Honours BA in Languages with TESOL from Sheffield Hallam University and a PGCE in Secondary Modern Foreign Languages from the same institution.
