Lucy Hewitt

Lucy Hewitt is an experienced professional in content and web operations management, currently serving as a Senior Web Operations Manager and previously as Senior Content and Resource Manager at AQA since June 2023. Prior to this role, Lucy was the Head of Content at Sandbox Learning from September 2020 to June 2023, where responsibilities included defining SEO-driven content strategies and leading a team across the US and UK. From April 2014 to August 2020, Lucy worked at AQA as Publishing Manager, leading an editorial team and contributing to the production of teaching materials. Earlier experience includes a Senior Editor and Lead Copywriter role at Teachit, where Lucy created various forms of content, and the initial position as an English Teacher at The Marlborough Church Of England School, achieving notable student pass rates. Lucy holds a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University, a PGCE & QTS from NWKTT, and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Leicester.
