Martyn Colliver

Subject Advocate Computer Science

Martyn Colliver is an experienced academic leader currently serving as Vice Principal (Academic & Technology), Director of Studies, and Head of Computing at The National Mathematics and Science College since September 2021. With a long-standing association with AQA since 2000, Martyn holds the roles of Subject Advocate for Computer Science, Lead Moderator, and Principal Examiner for A-level Computing, contributing significantly to examination preparation and management. Previously, Martyn was Director at EPQ Support Ltd, facilitating support for the extended project qualification from 2014 to 2023, and held various teaching and leadership positions at Warwick School and Loughborough Grammar School. Martyn's educational background includes a BSc in Pure Mathematics and Computation from The University of Manchester, a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics from the University of Warwick, and advanced degrees in e-learning and children's programming learning from the University of Warwick and The University of Edinburgh.
