Phil Anderson

Phil Anderson is an experienced educator and expedition leader with a diverse background in leadership and training roles. Currently serving as a GCSE Maths Examiner for AQA since June 2022, Phil also leads international youth expeditions for Camps International, focusing on safety and team development in challenging environments. In previous roles, Phil has driven strategic program development and training initiatives at Berry Education, managed a notable expedition relaunch for Raleigh International in Borneo, and supported over 300 trainee teachers as Development Lead at Teach First. Additionally, Phil served as Director of Maths at James Calvert Spence College, where proactive leadership resulted in improved teaching and learning outcomes. Phil holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership from the University of Warwick and a PGCE in Mathematics from Northumbria University, complemented by a BSc in Criminology and Sociology from Cardiff University.
