Rachel Thomson is an accomplished dance professional with extensive experience in education and arts development. Currently serving as the Learning & Development Schools Lead and Access and Education Officer at Phoenix Dance Theatre since November 2021, Rachel has also held various roles at AQA, including Examination Reviewer and Senior Moderator for GCSE Dance since April 2011. In addition, Rachel has been a Choreographer for Waste of Space Theatre Co. since April 2009 and taught dance at Hornsey School for Girls from August 2010 to December 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Contemporary Dance Teacher at Leeds City College from September 2007 to June 2009. Rachel holds a PGCE in Dance from the University of Bedfordshire and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Leeds.
