Simon Jones

Simon Jones is an experienced professional in project and portfolio management, currently serving as the Director of Programmes and Project Management at AQA since May 2015, following roles as Head of Technology Portfolio Management and Programme Manager - Technology. Prior to AQA, Simon held the position of Head of Projects at Inter-est UK Ltd and served in various roles at Gazprom Energy, including Project Portfolio Manager and Programme Manager. Simon's career began at Focus Systems Ltd, where responsibilities included Operations Director and Project Manager, and earlier experience includes a managerial role at JD Wetherspoon. Simon holds a BSc in Land Management from the University of Reading, earned between 2002 and 2005.
