Steve Kramer

Steve Kramer, PhD, MBB, is a distinguished Professor of Decision Sciences at Nova Southeastern University's H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship since April 2011. As a Fellow and Board Member of ASQ - World Headquarters, Steve has held various leadership positions, including Vice-Chair and Treasurer for Chapter 1510, and has contributed significantly to Lean Enterprise initiatives. Steve operates Kramer Consulting, specializing in Lean/Six Sigma deployment and management consulting since 2004, and has served as an Advanced Examiner for the Florida Sterling Council. Prior academic roles include Visiting Professor of Management at Wake Forest University and Assistant Professor at Loyola University Maryland, with a focus on Operations Management and Lean/Six Sigma projects. Steve's extensive experience also includes a 20-year tenure at Northrop Grumman, where significant process improvements were achieved. Educational credentials include a PhD in Operations Management from the University of Maryland, an MSIE from the University of Rhode Island, and a BSIE from the University of South Florida.
