AQSystem are Europe’s leading innovator and manufacturer of advanced SoDAR systems for the wind power applications.

The AQ510 Wind Finder is a state of the art remote sensing system designed to meet the requirements of the modern global wind industry. AQ510 is the only SoDAR based remote sensing system to have been independently verified (by DNV-GL/Garrad Hassan) as capable of meeting the upcoming revision of the IEC 61400-12-1.

Our objective is to provide the highest quality and most accurate remote sensing solutions in a reliable and cost effective package. It is our belief that all customers are individual. AQSystem customers are free to choose only the hardware and service options which they require to meet their project needs and all systems are fully up-gradeable to provide future proof flexibility.

“The AQS510 is an exceptional SoDAR technology providing high quality data and thus real added value to (wind) projects.” Joachim Binotsch, General Manager, BBB Umwelttechnik

“The use of AQSystem sodars on our projects has played a significant role in our success within Scandinavia. In our experience equipment provided by AQSystem has been very reliable and the services provided to be of very high quality. Right now we are using AQSystem sodars on many of our projects in Norway, Sweden and Finland.” Alan Derrick, Head of Technical Services, RES Group Ltd.

“We consider sodars from AQSystem to be a very useful tool for wind site assessments. In a recent project, we used three sodar units in parallel with a met mast and were thus able to run simultaneous measurements at four separate points for a period of four months. As a result we were able to raise the project’s P90 value by several percent.” Mans Hakansson, PHD, Wind & Site, Statkraft AB

"The AQ510 is performing very good. Up to now the AQ510 is the best SoDAR we had in a verification outperforming even some LiDAR units". Thomas Latacz, BBB Umwelttechnik GmbH
