Asaf Eitani

Asaf Eitani is a seasoned security researcher with extensive experience in cybersecurity. Currently serving as a Security Researcher at Aqua Security since March 2021, Eitani previously held the role of Senior Security Researcher at Sygnia from August 2019 to March 2021. Eitani's career began in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from January 2014 to October 2018, where roles included C Developer and Penetration Testing Team Leader as well as Cyber Threat Hunting Team Leader, overseeing a team focused on cybersecurity for a large network with an emphasis on forensics and threat hunting. Additional expertise includes malware analysis and forensics gained as a Cyber Security Specialist. Earlier experience also includes a position as a QA Analyst at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. Eitani holds a High School Diploma in Computer Science from IYDS, graduating in 2014.
