Shira Bendkowski

Shira Bendkowski is a seasoned professional in product management, currently serving as VP of Product Management at Aqua Security since May 2024, specializing in cloud run-time protection. Prior to this role, Shira was VP of Product Management at XM Cyber from October 2021 to May 2024, where leadership involved building and managing multiple product teams focused on cloud security and security posture. Shira's career also includes significant experience in the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, where leadership of product managers in cyber and telecommunications took place from August 2008 to October 2021. Earlier positions included roles in the Israel Defense Forces, where Shira served as a Data Product Manager. Academically, Shira holds a Master’s degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
