In 2022, Australia reported to the UN that we had achieved SGD 6: Clean Water for All. Unfortunately, that is not the case.

It is currently estimated that over 2 million Australia’s (more than 8% of the population) don’t have access to safe or palatable drinking water. In some communities the tap water contains arsenic, uranium or E. coli, and in many places bottled water is more expensive than soft drink.

This situation has led to water insecurity being one of the leading causes of diabetes, dental issues and other chronic health concerns in remote and regional Australia.

Closer to the coast, did you know 10% of all drinking water is lost to leaking pipes?

That equates to over 5,000 Olympic swimming pools dripping out across just South East Queensland each year!

Have you experienced the frustration of mains water not being an option in some areas? The environmental impact of plastic bottles? Or the health impacts of treatment chemicals lurking in mains water?

OUR SOLUTION

Now how much more efficient would it be to just generate water at the point of need? No mains leaks, no desalination waste, no chemicals and no praying for rain.

Aqua Ubique specialise in Atmospheric Water Generation – water from air technology. We’ve scoured the globe to uncover the best AWGs, then optimised them for Australian conditions.

Think of it like this: solar panels generate power where you need it, AWGs allow you to do the same with water.

Our vision is for a truly sustainable future, one where every Aussie can safely turn on the tap.

By implementing the best technology from around the world, those who currently don’t have access to water will have a reliable supply, and those with mains access will be able to significantly reduce their environmental footprint.
