Richard Day

Richard Day is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, product innovation, and support for underrepresented artists. As a Mentor at Clean Tech Open since May 2023, Richard also serves as Principal Business Lead at National Grid, developing digital inventory management solutions with a focus on demand planning and material traceability. Previously, as a Senior Product Developer, Richard led agile teams to launch energy efficiency and decarbonization products. Co-founding and acting as Executive Director of Anoba Studios, Richard supports underrepresented creators, overseeing financials and startup processes. Richard also co-founded Aquaneers Inc., developing clean energy solutions and water purification technologies while raising over $1.3 million in capital. Richard's academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from New York University, complemented by time as a Visiting Scholar there, researching sustainable technologies.
