Ruby Jones

Ruby Jones has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Ruby currently holds the position of Head of Operations at Aquila, where they focus on testing implementation and building partnerships. Prior to this, Ruby founded Blackbird Giants at Blackbird, a role which they held for a year. Ruby also worked at Windlab as a Project Engineer, where they identified opportunities and designed wind and solar projects. Ruby was also a Student Fellow at Startmate, where they gained insight into investment and founding stories. Additionally, they served as the Project Lead and Sponsorship Lead at ANU Solar Racing, where they coordinated and led a team in the creation of the Aussie Solar Challenge. Ruby also has experience in real estate sales at CREO Group and as a Research Analyst at Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility (ACCR) and ISS - CAER ESG Research, where they conducted company analysis and ESG research.

Ruby Jones attended The Australian National University from 2016 to 2020, earning an Honours degree in Renewable Engineering & Business Administration.
