Andy Davis

Andy Davis is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in health reporting, currently serving as a staff writer for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette since January 2000. In this role, Andy has led coverage of daily developments related to the coronavirus pandemic and has reported on significant health issues such as the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid expansion from 2013 to 2020. Previous experience includes developing award-winning stories at the Columbia Missourian, as well as reporting internships at renowned publications such as the Chicago Tribune, Newsday, and The Birmingham News. Andy holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating Cum Laude.
