Daniel Gnoth

Daniel Gnoth currently serves as the GM Research & Insights at Ara Ake, leading research initiatives aimed at facilitating New Zealand's transition to a clean energy future. Prior to this role, Daniel held multiple positions at Powerco, including Energy Futures Manager, where the focus was on empowering critical thinkers and innovators in the energy sector. Previously, Daniel worked as a Senior Data Scientist and Senior Analyst. Academic experience includes a PhD candidacy at the University of Otago, where the thesis explored energy efficiency in household behavior, and roles as a research assistant. Daniel also contributed to the Otago Energy Research Centre as an administrator, fostering collaboration within the organization. An early career position as a market researcher for St John Ambulance involved identifying opportunities in the aged care sector. Education includes a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from the University of Otago.
