Simone Labaky

Simone Labaky is the Country Credit Head at Arab Bank, where responsibilities include overseeing the Credit Management framework with an emphasis on credit review, appraisal, administration, remedial management, and recovery strategies since September 2012. Prior to this role, Simone served as a Senior Manager in Corporate and Investment Banking at Saint Joseph University of Beirut, also teaching courses related to syndicated loans and special credit financing from 2008 to 2020. Previous experience includes leadership positions at BLC Bank, Byblos Bank Group, and Banque Libano-Française, specializing in corporate banking, syndication, and project finance. Academically, Simone holds a Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies in Finance and an MBA in Industrial and Commercial Management, both from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, along with a Lebanese and French Baccalaureate from Collège Notre-Dame de Jamhour.
